It was just a proper fit for a weekend respite in Poughkeepsie with very good value for money. The bartender at the bar was very friendly and willing to serve us even after last call, which was much appreciated. Make sure to ask staff about local dining options—they had great recommendations.

Decent stay with some wobbles
I stayed for 2 nights and the staff were friendly, but checking in took forever—over 30 mins! The elevators were a major headache, especially during the busy weekend. The bar area was nice, though, and made up for some of the stress. Just wish they'd sort the elevator situation out.

The complimentary chocolate chip cookies upon arrival were a good surprise that instantly. My King Room was spotless and had a fine view of the Hudson River The breakfast spread was a tasty highlight too, with fresh options that fueled my day perfectly.
Totally recommend! 😍✨

We had a fantastic visit right in the center of town! The hotel provided a comfortable base for our large family, and we enjoyed exploring Poughkeepsie. Our kids had fun visiting the local farmer's market, and we appreciated the spacious room that allowed us to unwind.
My kids wished there were more entertainment options within the hotel, like games or a pool area.

The dining options here offer a solid breakfast buffet with a variety of choices, from eggs and bacon to pastries and cinnamon sugar waffles. The rooftop deck provides an impressive view, enhancing the ambiance for events.
There were some issues with the elevators, leading to long wait times, often over 15 minutes during peak hours. The temperature control in our room was problematic. it never seemed to cool down properly despite attempts to adjust the settings, which became uncomfortable especially on hot summer days. Additionally, cleanliness in common areas left something to be desired, with several guests noting dirty stairway railings and debris.

Single travelers should check it out
The hotel staff went out of their way for us when we had to add days onto our trip. Had a nice, clean King Room, which was good, except for a bad bed, lumpy and kinda hard but we managed. The hotel gave us cookies at check-in, which was a nice touch.
Sure, it wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was okay for what we got.
